Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?

We recommend bringing the following items for your visit:

  • A coat or jacket – Alaska’s weather can be unpredictable, and temperatures can change quickly, so an extra layer is always a good idea.
  • Closed-toe footwear – Our grounds consist of gravel and sawdust, making sturdy shoes more comfortable. High heels are not recommended.
What if the weather is bad?

Our tour runs rain or shine, as it is not weather-dependent. The first part of the experience takes place outdoors, with seating available under a covered awning for protection from the elements. The second half is held indoors in our theater, where comfortable seating is provided for all guests.

What should I bring to the tour?

You will want to bring your camera or cell phone for photos!  Bug spray is a good idea, too, as mosquitoes are prevalent during the summer months.  We have a small giftshop that accepts Visa, Mastercard, and cash if you’re looking to pick-up a souvenir after your tour.
