Description

Embark on an unforgettable journey through the rugged Alaskan tundra and explore the stunning ecosystems surrounding the renowned Denali National Park on the Heli Hiking Adventure. This exhausting yet rewarding expedition combines aerial transportation with ground exploration, allowing you to take in the beauty of the remote Alaskan wilderness from multiple perspectives. The best part? The helicopter will take you to one of the most secluded areas in the park, granting you the opportunity to witness breathtaking views that few people ever get to experience - without having to spend days trekking to get there.

This extraordinary Denali excursion begins at the helicopter base just outside Denali National Park, where you'll be briefed and outfitted with the necessary gear before boarding the chopper and taking to the skies! From the air, you will be treated to stunning views of the local alpine and tundra, and weather permitting, you might even get to see the Denali itself! Once the helicopter touches down, your experienced and knowledgeable guide will lead you on a 3.5-hour hiking excursion, where you will learn about the local flora and fauna while taking in the breathtaking beauty of the rugged landscape. Keep an eye out for wildlife as you make your way through the park, as this is an excellent opportunity to snap some incredible photos.

The Heli Hiking Adventure offers a unique combination of leisurely and strenuous hikes in a loop that will take you from the helicopter, deep into the Denali National Park, and back to the helicopter, with a stop for a light lunch along the way. This is an incredible adventure and a great opportunity for those who want to experience the best of Denali hiking excursions but are short on time, or simply want to admire the beauty of the Alaskan wilderness in more ways than one!
