Start your excursions just a short distance from the cruise docks with the famous Ketchikan Lumberjack Show. Here, you will see Canadian and American lumberjacks battle it out for the title of "Bull of the Woods" in a stadium right in the middle of town. Events include sawing, log rowing, axe throwing, tree climbing, chopping, and more! This exciting tour reflects on the history of a bygone era that made Alaska what it is today, while still remaining exciting for the crowd. Your colorful host will keep you delighted with stories of lumberjack history (myths included) while the lumberjacks continue their battles.
After the 1-hour Ketchikan lumberjack show is complete, you will join your guides as the Lumberjack Show & Crab Feast continues on to the next portion of your tour, the George Inlet Lodge. Along the way, you will see the beautiful sights of Ketchikan, so be sure to have your cameras out. When you reach George Inlet Lodge, have your belts loosened for this all-you-can-eat crab feast that is sure to delight all palettes. With an assortment of sides, beverage option, and blueberry cheesecake for dessert, you won't leave this crab feast hungry. When you've finished your feast, be sure to check out the lodge itself, a historic former cannery that was moved across the ocean! You will meet your guides near Berth 2 at the downtown cruise docks before walking a short distance over to the Lumberjack Show. Please note, this tour may run in reverse.
Enjoy Ketchikan's "Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show" featuring log sawing, axe throwing, log rolling, tree climbing & more as American & Canadian lumberjacks face off.
You'll then load up in a bus for transport to the southern end of Revillagigedo Island for your feast at a remote lodge.
At George Inlet Lodge enjoy Dungeness crab, fresh salad, and blueberry cheesecake. If you have dietary restrictions, please let us know in advance.
At the conclusion of your tour, your guides will return you to the downtown cruise docks where you can explore historic downtown or head back to your ship.
